Luke has been kept busy with the epic 5 track E.P and with an album in full production there is plenty more on the horizon from this duo.

Bigpop composer Mike Newport has been celebrating the recent release of the horror comedy I Survived A Zombie Holocaust which features his wonderful orchestral score. Chris had also worked on the project completing the music mix at Bigpop Studios.
Chris, Joost and Mike recently finished working on the musical score for Deathgasm, a horror feature film which is written and directed by Jason Lei Howden. It has all colours of interesting smattered throughout it; necrophilia and a large dose of heavy metal to name a few...and its been an exciting and interesting project to work on and had its debut screening at the recent SXSW festival.
Chris's band Delete Delete filmed the NZ scenes for their forthcoming video at K'Rd's Neck Of The Woods bar and are now awaiting director Marc Swadel to complete filming and editing in London. The single 'Heavens Never Been So Far Away' is slated for a July release.
Whoever said buskers don't have charm, clearly has no idea what they're talking about. The delightful and talented Sally (Anne) Faherty made an appearance on X-Factor NZ and ripping it up on stage as well as ripping a middle finger to the judges. Another one of the talented singers on our books, Sarah Spicer also made a big impression on the X-Factor judges!
Glen Cleaver worked closely with Darkroom TV to create a fully immersive 360 sound design for a product launch in the Madrid Dome. Sound design was intense, and it involved many late nights, and a whole lot of imagination. It was a first time for Bigpop to create a full 360 sound design and music job and we were really stoked with the final 5.1 Dolby mix, apparently so were the attendee's!
Les Mills Immersive launched late 2014 and we were proud to yet again partner up with the team from Les Mills to create a truly bespoke experience. The Immersive campaign was released in London and involved fitness folk entering a shipping container and working out inside a full 360 degree immerse audiovisual experience. It was an absolute treat working alongside the talented duos of Lakshaman and Kim from Creature and Bruce and Emma from the Darkroom TV !! .
Also, in collaboration with the Darkroom peeps, we had the pleasure of working on the sound for the recent Vodafone NZ Music Awards which was a real treat. And with the added bonus of attending the awards night itself. Bigpop hearts music.
Babysitters Club have been in the studios working with our talented engineer Rich Bryan finishing off some further recording and mixing for their upcoming album ( with the first single completed for release in the Netherlands).

We worked on music and sound design for the Les Mills International/Reebok project - The Box - an immersive fitness experience that will be touring around Europe from June 2014.
We recently had a session recording the AYO at AKLD University music studio in Shortland St for Federations James Hardy Linea TVCs. The Shortland Street complex was originally built as a Radio New Zealand studio and has also housed TVNZ where it was the hub for many a great 1970's telethons!
Chris recently finished mixing Victoria Kelly's score for Jonathan Kings new film Realiti at the studios. It's been a fast turnaround with completion being in time for its debut at this years AK film festival.
Chris's band Delete Delete will also be back in continuing further work in their debut album after receiving a recording and video grant in the latest funding round.

He's also been keeping busy at the Bigpop Studios mixing the music elements for a new TV show which will be hitting NZ screens soon called Covers Band - (watch out Shorty!)
The lovely Nathan Cooper's sequel to Beer Scooter is done and dusted. We had the opportunity to do the sound design and music composition on the Beer Goggles spot which is equally as funny, well scripted, beautifully read by Peter Vere-Jones, and perfectly executed as the first.
Delete-Delete has been given a new video grant & toured over Christmas after some hard work (and solid beer consuming) in the Bigpop Studios.
Stars are in our eyes, and studios.....Stan Walker and Ginny Blackmore are here to write and record what will surely be the new hits of summer in Bigpops' studios. Rich is a bit star struck really.
Joost Langeveld donned a jacket and was a guest speaker for Apra regarding music composition in NZ.....he was nervous, but apparently sources in the crowd report that no one could tell.
Luke Berryman has been working hard at our Anzac Ave Studios with Aaradhna and P-Money on their Vodafone single Dapper Man that he mixed and mastered - cannot wait to hear the results....hopefully it will be released in time to blare out of car windows rolled down this summer.
The much anticipated album from one of the amazing musicians we work with - Imagine This is finally out! The 19 track full LP is available for download.....check it out!

Roll the credits......One of our wonderful composers Mike Newport is back from rubbing shoulders with the rich, talented and famous in L.A. He had the honour of working with epic composers Howard Shore and Hans Zimmer and is now composing for some of Hollywoods biggest film trailers.
Bigpop's Chris, Joost & Eve dusted off their dancing shoes for a big night of Moa proportions at the Film and TV Awards. Plenty of fun times, lovely people, and congratulations to the winners. NZ sure knows how to make a mean movie. We should mention how lucky we were to be able to work on the ADR for The Weight of Elephants, Zentropa Studios and Lars Von Trier that cleaned up.
